Your Role and Responsibilities
Join a first-class software engineering product development team to design, code, test and deliver software supporting and enhancing one of IBM's most successful enterprise-level cloud solutions using AI techniques and traditional software development methodologies. As a DevOps Engineer, you will act as bridge between IT operations, DevOps, QA and Development teams. Ensures a reliable system by solving, reporting and coordinating gaps. You will continuously improve upon by automating processes and building new SaaS solutions. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  3+ years experience as DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
·  Know your way around source and project control tools (GitHub Enterprise, ZenHub, Jira)
·  Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, NodeJS, or Golang preferred)
·  Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, Bash etc.
·  Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
·  Hands on experience with observability tools (Instana, Nagios, New Relic, LogDNA)
·  Hands on experience with Continuous Integration platforms (Jenkins, TeamCity, Travis CI)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Mastery of at least one programming language (Java, NodeJS, or Golang preferred)
·  Strong expertise with Continuous Integration platforms (Jenkins, Terraform, TeamCity, Travis CI)
·  In-depth understanding of the entire web development process, including strong expertise building REST APIs
