Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Delivery Consultant, you will learn and experience how we apply technical expertise to ensure
world-class delivery using consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based
methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. As a member of IBM Technology
Expert Labs, you will be client-focused, courageous, pragmatic, and technical to optimize and
trailblaze new solutions that address real business challenges.

• Developing Solutions to Reach True Business Value: Understanding clients' main challenges
and developing solutions that help them reach true business value by working through the
phases of design, development integration, implementation, migration and product support
with a sense of urgency.
• Agile Planning and Execution: Creating and executing agile plans where you are responsible
for installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two
operations.
• Self-Motivated Problem Solving: Demonstrating a natural bias towards self-motivation,
curiosity, and initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and present
solutions.
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills as you
work across the client, partner, and IBM team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Communication Skill: Excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging,
compelling, and influential.
• Educational Background: B.S. in M.I.S., Business/Communications with a STEM minor,
Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information
Systems/Engineering.
• Practical Tech Experience: Hands-on exposure to real-world application of computer
science, information systems or engineering concepts.
• Programming Language Proficiency: Understanding and experience with at least one
programming language, design tool, or Quantum Computing (e.g. Python, Java, C/C++).
• Familiar with Open Architectural Design: including Kubernetes and Container design,
database's structure, and data fabric, and integrating using API's and scripting

• Problem-Solving Skills: Problem-solving skills with attention to detail, precision, and
time management.
• Collaboration and Communication Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills
as you work across the client, partner, and IBM team.
