Architect for Platform stream (Infrastructure & Cloud)

Job description

·  Be part of a multidisciplinary Architecture team to define the complete landscape of the platform, in particular the infrastructure layer in correspondence to the key non-functional requirements and to create its target architecture
·  Create architecture artifacts in accordance to IBM methods
·  Analyze current client infrastructure landscape, identify its gaps on the way to Software-Defined and Cloud architecture and help client to design and build its Cloud platform
·  Share and educate client on the cloud adoption process and required changes at enterprise
·  Work with all levels at client side from senior executives to infrastructure SME and architects to deliver relevant and high-profile solutions
·  Understand and manage client expectations to enable a successful partnership between client and IBM teams

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Infrastructure Architecture experience
• Experience in working with Docker/Kubernetes/Openshift
• Understanding patterns to meet non-functional requirements (availability, performance, scalability etc) for scale-out infrastructure
• IBM Methods knowledge and practice: UMF, AD 2.0, TeamSD etc
• Experience in building solutions with usage of object store and creating solutions for Software-Defined Infrastructure
• Deep knowledge and experience in designing Cloud platform architecture
• VMware stack, Openstack, Unix\\Linux knowledge
• Understanding key trends in infrastructure (software-defined datacenter, accelerated IT etc) and presenting IBM point-of-view to the client
• Strong presentation and communication skill, at least Intermediate English
