Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
Your primary responsibilities include:
·  Technical Skills: Data Modelling, Advance SQL Scripting, Azure Analysis Services/SSAS Tabular, DAX (Advance), Power Query Data Modelling, Power BI UI Design, Advance Power BI (AI/ML)
·  Years of Experience on Application Development / Maintenance: Between 4 to 8 Years
·  Worked with Data procurement strategies – DB, Cached/import mode (applications, features and drawbacks)
·  Configure/integrate security both at Power BI tool and DB level respectively
·  Confident communicator, able to express your ideas and convey complicated concepts simply.
·  Ability to think strategically and communicate data-driven insights by transforming numbers into easily understandable visualization is desirable.
·  Candidates are expected to be passionate about designing and creating meaningful data visualizations and memorable user experiences.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Performance tuning (pushdown logic, calculated columns and measures, data loading strategies, filtering data, variables)
·  Development of visualizations (Bar Chart, Line Chart, Scatter Plot, bookmarks, report interfaces, themes) and storytelling abilities
·  Knowledge of one Database, SQL Scripting and experience in Power BI, Power Query and DAX is must.
·  Azure Analysis Services (AAS)/SSAS Tabular is a must
·  Strong Hands-on experience in DAX Query, Data Modeling concepts.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Knowledge of Cloud technologies - Azure Synapse
·  Experience setting up data connections, mobility, writing functions and using advanced features like ESRI, NLP, scripting, R & python etc.
