We are currently recruiting Application Developer – JAVA full stack for a 6 month fixed term contract, based in Sydney.
The Application Development team is responsible for supporting the full life cycle of enhancements. As an Application Developer your responsibilities include –

·  Work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success
·  Assist in creating solutions for client and/or internal review
·  Participate in client meetings to communicate status or give demos
·  Participate in daily code reviews to offer insight and ask questions
·  Be keenly aware of timelines and budgeting to deliver in a timely manner
·  Abide by team coding standards, development processes and best practices
·  will provide technical support to client and advises offshore team on the compliance aspects to provided support to Client and Participate in client meetings to communicate status or give demos
·  sound knowledge on the Agile processes, possesses niche skill sets in Life 400 application which will help de-risk the outcomes project in terms of delivery, hence can Assist in creating solutions for client and/or internal review
·  Must have strong technical skills in Insurance and Java, and good knowledge in orion functional work flow. Also will coordinate with Business users and IT teams to finalize requirement and solution.
·  Abide by team coding standards, development processes and best practices
Required experienced

To ensure success in the role you will possess the following skills –

·  Skills/Programming Language: Java/J2EE, WebSphere Portal Server, Angular JS, Node JS, JavaScript, JQuery, Total 10 years of experience in above technologies
·  Understanding of design patterns like FAÇADE, Abstract Factory, Singleton
·  Experience with relational databases Oracle, DB2 and MySql
·  Strong written and verbal communications
·  3 Years of experience in CSS, HTML, jQuery,react JS, redux
·  Experience in mobile development (Android) a nice-to-have
Compensation package from $74,970 (full-time equivalent inclusive of superannuation) and will be determined based on successful candidates relevant skills and experience
