Application Architect ECM and Cognitive Computing

Job description

In this role, you'll be part of our European consulting team that is helping clients to design and deliver innovative solutions based on Cognitive Computing approaches – with a focus on Enterprise Content Management and Cognitive Computing based on IBM WATSON technology.

We're looking for experienced professionals who have a strong background in architecture and development of content management solutions, and are eager to build on this knowledge, acquiring IBM Watson architecture skills to be Application Architects for solutions featuring components from the areas of Content Management, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Semantic Technologies, Information Retrieval or Machine Learning.
We would welcome applications from experienced ECM (FileNet P8) architects and developers who can build on their existing knowledge to move on in their career to Cognitive Computing.
In this role, you will designand implement Cognitive solutions which may run on multiple platforms and composed of multiple software packages. You will design and develop the architecture of the Cognitive Solutions from a systemic standpoint. You are responsible for creating the technical solution architecture for a given business problem. This role requires in-depth knowledge of System Engineering principles, experience and knowledge in the management of huge amounts of text and media content, awareness of behavioral characteristics of probabilistic and stochastic systems, solid understanding of system decomposition techniques, and the art and science of system synthesis using available cognitive technology. We expect you to quickly embrace the capabilities of our Watson technology suite, and experience in selecting analytics components for development of solution blueprints. Your architectural designs should include the perspectives of performance architecture and engineering of a fully functional cognitive system.

You'll provide advisory and implementation expertise to our clients including: business and technical architecture for CognitiveComputing solutions; proof of concept execution to prove the value ofCognitive Computing use cases; solution outline and design of CognitiveComputing systems; as well as supporting business developmentactivities.

You'll have strong experience in designing and building innovativesolutions based on the above technologies, with a focus on Enterprise Content Management, but you will also be have theexpertise and architectural mindset to relate and integrate such solutionswith existing client system infrastructures, such as e.g. information management, business analytics or CRMsystems.

Proven hands-on experience in conducting analyses on unstructured aswell as structured / semi-structured data is expected.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  At least 3 years experience in working with Enterprise Content Management, or Natural Language Processing, Semantic Technologies, Information Retrieval or Machine Learning tools.
·  At least 3 years experience in conducting analysis and classification, structuring, management of unstructured data sources
·  At least 3 years experience in devising IT architectures or
·  at least 3 years experience in developing applicable (ECM, NLP, Cognitive) solutions, preferably in a Java environment with state of the art tools and technologies
