Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Business Transformation Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

Your primary responsibilities include:

Proposal Development: Identify business drivers and goals and develop compelling proposals and value-driven business cases to achieve desired business outcomes.
Requirements Analysis and Specifications Design: Translate client's business needs into business requirements and participate in the production of detailed design and technical specifications.
Future-Ready Architecture Planning: Understand the requirements, current architecture state of the enterprise and create roadmaps for future enhancements accordingly.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

The candidate should help the project teams to identify business needs, recommend solutions, develop and manage requirements. He/she should manage the life cycle of projects by continuous monitoring and documenting, communicating the requirements appropriately to involved stakeholders and assessing how well the delivered solutions fulfill the requirements and meet the business need.

Required skills:
• Demonstrate proficiency in eliciting, analyzing and documenting requirements both business and technical.
• Manage stakeholders, users and conduct requirement workshops.
• Capable to work with solutions at enterprise-level agile environments, interface with end-users and document functional and technical requirements.
• Ability to prepare efficient functional analysis and technical design documents.
• Understand business and IT concepts, best practices, and functions to support technical solutions and solve technical challenges.
• Map processes and use cases and analyze business cases.
• Perform impact analysis and gap analysis.
• Leverage development tools to analyze, decompose, accept, approve, specify and validate the requirements for a product or project.
• Guide the technical teams and developers in project development streams.
• Understand services, DB schemas and integration processes between systems of different technologies.
• Participate in UAT and production deployment activities.

The candidate should also have:
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of three years of experience in insurance, banking, telco or energy industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and a “can do” attitude.
