Your Role and Responsibilities
The consultant will be part of IBM Expert Labs specialist team who will directly work with customer as an individual or as part of a larger IBM Expert Labs project team and will be responsible for the following tasks.
·  Perform requirement gathering and project planning with Project Manager and customers.
·  Planning, installation and configuration of IBM Software across various distributed platforms.
·  Work with IBM project team to troubleshoot and rectify errors on IBM products deployed at customer side.
·  Advice and work with customer teams to architect, design and improve IBM solutions deployments at customer site.
·  Project schedule, deployments or critical events may require the consultant to work during off hours or on weekends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Minimum 3 years experience and advanced hands-on experience skill sets with at least 3 out of the listed IBM Software - IBM Cloud Pak, IBM MQ, DataPower, ACE, Instana, IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS), WAS, FileNet, Datacap
·  Experience in IBM MQ, Instana and DataPower appliance will be of added advantage
·  Experience with container technologies, including planning, installation, configuration and troubleshooting for technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) on-premise or cloud
·  Hands-on experience in other non-IBM Messaging, Broker engine, Workflow, Monitoring tools (e.g. JBOSS, Apache, WebLogic, MuleSoft) are encouraged to apply
·  Able install, configure and troubleshoot IBM Software listed above
·  Perform Software configuration customization
·  Perform cluster configuration and maintain cluster health
·  Troubleshoot Software related issues and provide solution
·  Perform Software fix pack upgrade and Software migration
·  Perform health check and tuning on the IBM software stack as above
·  Good understanding of tiered architecture and deployment
·  Good troubleshooting skill to perform root cause analysis and recovery
·  Hands-on experience in other IBM Software will be an added advantage

·  Strong communication skill (written and verbal)
·  Able to converse fluently in English
