Who you are:
Currently seeking Application Developers who will become part of a team that provides IT support to the IBM Finance Indirect Tax (IDT) organization. You will help us build, enhance and maintain our WW Tax Compliance Portal using skills such as JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, Java, Restful API, HTML, CSS, DB2 and you will use a variety of tooling, including jUnit, Mocha, Chai, GitHub, Travis CI, Selenium, Cucumber, Docker in the IBM Cloud environment. In addition, you will have an opportunity to learn and support Tax & Treasury Cognitive solutions using IBM Watson and other tools.
What you'll do:
Design, develop, deploy and maintain the IT Technical Solution
Demonstrate a clear pride of ownership for the IT Technical solution
Actively participate in the Agile and DevOps development process
Propose new ideas, relentless focus on quality and continuous improvement
Perform root cause analysis of technical and process issues
Looking for basic skills with:
· 3+ years Application Development experience
· Client side technologies such as Angular, React, HTML, CSS
· Backend technologies such as Java, Python, NodeJS, Restful Web Services
· DevOps Practices including Automated Build, Test and Deployment and Static Analysis using tools and practices such as Gtihub, jUnit, Mocha, Chai, Selenium/JEST, Cucumber, TravisCI, SonarQube, Docker
· Agile Development Practices (Scrum), Behavior Driven and Test Driven Development
· Able to work with data, microservices and deliver services using web technologies, encryption and API
· Database such as SQL / noSQL
· Excellent communication skills and proven problem solving experience
