Job Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management & Analytics Division
Sitting within Reserve Management department, the front office Application Developer cum business analyst / product owner is responsible for managing the applications and processes used for portfolio management and trading of assets managed in-house.
· Work closely with portfolio management and trading functions to understand their business requirements, translating business-to-technical requirements and vice versa
· Design, build/enhance, test, implement and document processes/tools/systems in partnership with IT, middle and back offices as well as software vendors to support front office workflow
· Plan and work with department and Client partners on implementing road map of front-office workflow feature development / upgrades
· Ensure front office processes and procedures meet internal standards for data integrity, security and auditability
· Monitor, analyse and troubleshoot front office processes to ensure their smooth functioning.
· Manage project implementations with vendors, covering procurement and related administrative issues;
· Oversee change management to facilitate the users to product adoption and new ways of working.
What we are looking for
· An undergraduate degree in business-related or IT-related fields
· Preferably 3-10 years relevant working experience, including product management/ownership or system used in similar functions, preferably in investment or financial domain
· Strong sense of ownership and growth mindset
· Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with good problem-solving skills
· Good understanding of user-centric principles and/or service design
· Adept communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders across all levels
· Experience working in cross-functional groups, representing views of different stakeholders and influencing teams towards achieving shared goal
