IBM Technology Sales is looking for proactive and enthusiastic students to join our Australian business as part our Internship Program.
As a Sales Intern, you will work with our sales team advising prospective clients on the benefits of IBM’s solutions. In this role, you’ll grow skills to implement initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across the wider Sales team to support client engagements throughout the sales process. Curiosity and a constant quest for knowledge serve as the foundation to success at IBM.
Responsibilities of a Sales Intern could include:
· Work alongside Sales professionals and subject matter experts to build proposals, manage projects and bring value to clients
· Support internal IBM teams on business analysis activities, marketing initiatives and building and implementing programs
· Work in squads with subject matter experts, using Agile methodology to complete projects in sprints
· Collaborate with the broader IBM sales ecosystem, from Marketing to Sales and technical colleagues, to IBM Business Partners. Skills/Knowledge Preferred:
· Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail
· Strong written & oral communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to work with people at a senior level & build business relationships
· A proven interest in Cloud and the Technology industry (interest in Sales a bonus)
· Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
· For more technical Intern roles, programming/coding experience (Python preferred) Duration: 6 months, full-time based in either our Melbourne or Sydney office

To be eligible to apply:
Intern applicants must meet the following requirements:
· Have Australian citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency or Unrestricted Working Rights (Visa)
· You will be enrolled in a tertiary degree at University in Australia – for the duration of the internship program
· Have no more than 2 years relevant work experience EEO
