Job description
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader – Stewarding to support the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.
Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt's expansion across the region and will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.
Your Role
As the Team Leader – Stewarding, you'll support the stewarding operations by supervising dishwashing, cleanliness, and sanitation standards across kitchen and F&B back-of-house areas, ensuring a hygienic and well-organized working environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate daily stewarding operations across kitchens and F&B outlets
· Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and service ware
· Monitor dishwashing procedures to maintain hygiene and operational standards
· Assign daily tasks and supervise stewarding colleagues to ensure efficiency and productivity
· Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of all back-of-house and storage areas
· Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant teams to support smooth operational flow
· Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
· Report maintenance issues related to stewarding equipment and follow up on repairs
· Support pre-opening stewarding setup and operational readiness
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Qualifications
· Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen hygiene operations within hotels or large F&B establishments
· Supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred
· Good knowledge of sanitation standards, cleaning procedures, and kitchen operations
· Strong organizational and coordination skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
· Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
