Job description

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader – Stewarding to support the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.

Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt's expansion across the region and will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.

Your Role

As the Team Leader – Stewarding, you'll be responsible for supervising stewarding operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across all kitchen and F&B back-of-house areas, while supporting efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and coordinate daily stewarding activities across all kitchen and F&B outlets
· Ensure proper cleaning, washing, and sanitation of kitchen utensils, equipment, and service ware
· Monitor dishwashing operations to maintain hygiene and operational standards
· Assign tasks and guide stewarding colleagues to ensure efficient workflow
· Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of all back-of-house and storage areas
· Coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams to support smooth daily operations
· Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
· Report maintenance issues related to stewarding equipment and follow up on corrective actions
· Support inventory control of cleaning supplies and stewarding materials
· Support pre-opening stewarding setup and operational readiness

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifications

· Previous experience in stewarding operations within hotels or large F&B establishments
· Supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred
· Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, sanitation procedures, and kitchen operations
· Ability to manage a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
· Strong organizational and coordination skills
· Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to lead and motivate a team
· Excellent English communication skills
