We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Steward to support our culinary team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and kitchen organization. As a Steward, you will play an essential role in ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and safely, creating a clean and efficient environment for our chefs to do their best work.

Your Part in Kitchen Excellence

· Ensure all kitchen equipment is in clean, safe, and working condition by regularly checking and reporting functionality.
· Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, food preparation areas, storage rooms, and dishwashing areas.
· Work closely with the culinary team to ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times.
· Follow hygiene protocols, including both kitchen hygiene and personal grooming standards.
· Assist in setting up and cleaning down food stations before and after service.
· Understand and follow all operational safety standards and occupational health guidelines.
· Work collaboratively with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, or other senior kitchen leaders to meet cleanliness and operational needs.
· Handle and store cleaning materials safely and responsibly, with basic knowledge of chemical use and safety procedures.
· Ensure the kitchen remains a safe working environment to prevent accidents.
· Assist with any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your direct superiors.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifications

·  Prior experience in stewarding or kitchen support is an advantage but not essential.
·  Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
·  Understanding of hygiene and safety standards in a kitchen environment.
·  Basic awareness of chemical use in cleaning processes is a plus.
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
·  Willingness to learn and contribute to a clean, efficient culinary space.
