Job description
You will be is responsible for leading the preparation and execution of high-quality Chinese cuisine for banquets, weddings, and special events. This role oversees the Chinese kitchen team, ensures consistent food quality, manages operations, and maintains high standards of hygiene and food safety during all event-related functions.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Chinese cuisine with at least 2 years in Sous Chef role.
• Strong experience in banquet and large-scale event catering.
• In-depth knowledge of various Chinese regional cuisines.
• Familiarity with banquet event orders (BEOs) and function coordination.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with cross-departments.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
