The Sous Chef – Bakery is responsible for overseeing the bakery team, ensuring consistent production of artisanal breads, viennoiseries and baked goods that meet Hyatt’s culinary excellence standards. This role requires a strong foundation in baking techniques, leadership skills and a commitment to upholding the highest hygiene and safety standards.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

• Certificate or Diploma in Patisserie.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (eg: HACCP) or relevant certifications.
• 2-3 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen with at least some time in luxury hotel or fine-dining setting.
• Excellent team management, leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced & high-pressure environment.
