Are you a highly motivated and results-driven culinary professional with a passion for excellence? We are looking for a dynamic Sous Chef to assist in leading our culinary team and ensuring smooth, efficient kitchen operations in line with Hyatt's renowned standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain quality standards by ensuring all dishes are prepared to specifications and served at the ideal portion size, quality, and temperature.
· Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations, supporting chefs and kitchen helpers to deliver efficient and profitable food service.
· Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards, conducting regular inspections of storerooms, equipment, and utensils.
· Optimize kitchen costs through portion control, minimizing waste, and managing inventory rotations to reduce spoilage.
· Assist in menu development to align with the restaurant's concept and target market
· Partner with managers to conduct food safety audits and comply with all relevant regulations.
· Train, mentor, and develop team members to maintain consistent service standards and enhance their skills.
· Apply analytical skills to resolve operational issues, initiate action plans, and ensure their implementation.
