Newly opened, Andaz Lisbon is an exciting luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital and represents a key milestone in Hyatt's continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is the second Hyatt‑branded hotel in Lisbon.
Located in the heart of Lisbon's vibrant Baixa district, along the city's main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal's major banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).
The central building houses 170 guestrooms, while the four surrounding satellite buildings offer a selection of exclusive private suites. As a unique Urban Resort in the city center, Andaz Lisbon invites guests to fully immerse themselves in the local culture and experience the true essence of Lisbon.
We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Andaz Lisbon!
As Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible to assist the Restaurant Manager with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
You will assist in managing the outlet as a successful and independent profit center, aligned with the outlet's operational concept and Hyatt International standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget and contributing to the restaurant's financial performance. You will also support team training, scheduling, and overall staff management.

Qualifications :

University degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)
·
Relevant experience in a similar role
·
Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, including waitstaff, bartenders, and supervisors
·
Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills related to team or service challenges
·
Strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
·
Budget management skills, including cost control, pricing strategies, and profit margins
·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and guests
·
Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments, ensuring smooth service during peak periods
·
Ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee stock levels to ensure timely product availability
·
Experience in hotel openings will be considered an asset
