Indian Sous Chef

Job description
You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of the department in alignment with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards, while meeting the expectations of employees, guests, and owners. The Sous Chef will support the Chef de Cuisine in managing their assigned kitchen as a successful, independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and enhancing our luxury dining experience. Specializing in crafting authentic Indian cuisine, this role involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all aspects of Kitchen operations and administration.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Minimum of 2 years' work experience as a Sous Chef, or 4 years as a Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with recognized standards; experience with luxury international brands is preferred.
· Demonstrated expertise in Indian cooking techniques, spices, and flavor profiles.
· A qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage.
· Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards is essential.
· Basic computer skills in MS Office and familiarity with Recipe Maintenance Systems are preferred.
