Human Resources Supervisor (8-month Contract)

Job description
Main Duties
Administration
·
Be responsible for C&B function related to employment contract, salary updates, all allowances, all insurances according to the local law, internal payroll.
·
Liaises with the local Labour authority for all related matters to labour relations including having the open expatriate job posted in the system of Labour department, work permit application process as assigned by the Human Resources Manager or/ and Director of Human Resources.
·
Enters, updates Personnel records into the Cadena System, People Soft System.
·
Ensures the timely and confidential management of associate data. Ensures that an organised, up-to-date filing system is maintained for all personnel records.
·
Maintains manual and electronic personnel files, ensuring that required record keeping is accurate and confidential.
·
Ensures all employment contract are in keeping with local legislation.
·
Works closely with Human Resources – Recruitment team to save, keep the Associate Requisition Form, Change of Status form for filing and salary processing.
·
Ensures proper documentation for the process of social insurance and accidents claim for associates.
·
Checks and validates “invalid time-sheet” on Cadena system weekly.
·
Prepares and check the monthly summary time attendance carefully before submitting to Human Resources and/or Director of Human Resources.
·
Ensure all salary, allowances of associates are updated added to the monthly payroll properly.
·
Coordinates with Paymaster to make sure the payroll is prepared accurate.
·
Preparation of turnover and absenteeism reports in a timely manner.
Customer Service
·
Provides the appropriate level of professional, courteous and caring service to other associates (internal customers) and other visitors to the division.
·
Ensures all associates provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
·
Handles guest and associate enquiries courteously and efficiently, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow-up.
·
Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions.
Financial
·
Ensures new technology & equipment are embraced to improve productivity.
·
Ensures Attendance Record check is being carried out according to the Policy and Procedures.
Marketing
·
Assists the Human Resources Manager with the compilation, implementation and upkeep of the following associate communications – Associate Handbook, Monthly HR Activity Schedule, Associate Notice Boards.
·
Effectively communicates core values and behavioural standards to all levels of staff.
Operational
·
Supports in organizing all Associate Activities.
·
Assists in the Remuneration Survey within labour market to determine and make recommendations relating to competitive compensation and benefits packaging.
·
Supports in the recruitment process by handling of enquiries, recruitment advertisements, shortlisting, arranging interview and conduct the reference check at appropriate time.
·
Manages the management of the local associate insurance programmes
·
Prepares the documentation process for visa / residence card / work permit applications for foreign national associates.
·
Co-ordinates and arranges Inquiry Meeting for Disciplinary Action Procedures.
Personnel
·
Ensures close and professional relationships are established and maintained between management, associates, government officials and the local community.
·
Delegates as appropriate the duties and responsibilities necessary to trained associates who are well equipped and resourced to correctly accomplish these tasks.
·
Ensures that associates have a complete understanding of the hotel Work Rules and Regulations, and that their behaviour complies. Corrects inappropriate behaviour in accordance with policy.
·
Monitors associate morale and provides honest performance feedback and development opportunities.
·
Conducts Performance Review as assigned, providing honest and appropriate feedback.
Other Duties
·
Maintains high personal standards of timekeeping, always present for duty as scheduled.

Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming, acting as a positive role model.

Attends and participates in Briefings/Meetings as required.

Exercises responsible practices and personal behaviour at all times, positively representing the hotel Team and Hyatt International.
·
Responds to requests to undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties and adjust to changes as dictated by hotel, industry and company.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field with in the hospitality industry, including supervisory role
· Strong expertise in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) , payroll, and labor law compliance within hotel/resort operations
· Proven experience managing expatriate services (work permits, visas, relocation) for international staff
· Good English communication skills
