Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park is seeking a motivated, organised, and detail-oriented Part Time Food & Beverage Administrator to support our Food & Beverage operations team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality administration, guest interaction, and working in a fast-paced hotel environment while maintaining flexible daytime hours.
About the Role
Reporting to the Food & Beverage leadership team, this role is responsible for providing administrative support across our Food & Beverage venues, including Archie's Farm Restaurant & Bar and Le Petit Chef .
The position offers approximately 25 hours per week , working either:
· Monday to Thursday , or
· Monday to Friday
Typical working hours will be approximately:
· 9:00am – 3:00pm , or
· 10:00am – 4:00pm
Flexibility may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage Archie's Farm Restaurant & Bar reservations and enquiries
· Coordinate group bookings and website bookings
· Manage Le Petit Chef bookings and process payments
· Respond to guest enquiries in a professional and timely manner
· Process invoices, purchase orders, and supplier communications
· Maintain departmental records, reports, and filing systems
· Prepare menus, promotional materials, and internal communications
· Coordinate meetings and assist with event administration
· Ensure compliance documentation is maintained and up to date
· Provide general administrative support to the Food & Beverage leadership team

About You
The successful candidate will:
· Have solid administration experience, ideally within hospitality or hotels
· Possess exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
· Be confident managing bookings, guest enquiries, and payments
· Have strong written and verbal communication skills
· Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
· Be proactive, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Have a positive, professional, and guest-focused attitude
· Experience with hotel booking systems or hospitality platforms will be highly regarded
