Consider your next career move as a F&B Director at our 5-star hotel in Madeira (Dreams Madeira Resort & Spa Marina).
Your main mission will be: To develop and implement a diverse and attractive food & beverage offering, including themed menus, culinary events, cultural experiences, and gastronomic activities for different audiences, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Your main responsibilities will include :
· Ensuring the positive performance of all F&B outlets
· Contributing to the recruitment process by participating in staff training and talent retention
· Managing and planning F&B-related events
· Supporting effective interdepartmental communication
· Identifying the training needs within the department
· Monitoring and controlling costs and inventory
· Planning staff schedules and service logistics
· Managing the F&B team in accordance with the hotel's standards and guidelines
· Promoting excellent levels of customer service
· Participating in menu design and product purchasing, always aiming to improve the department
· Identifying guest needs and proactively responding to them
· Establishing targets, KPIs, and procedures
· Fostering team spirit and collaboration
· Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Desired profile
Qualifications :
What we expect from you:
· Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills
· Proactivity, dynamism, multitasking ability, and good time management
· Honesty, integrity, and a high sense of responsibility
· Excellent command of Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with additional knowledge of French, Italian, or German being an asset
· Proven experience in 4 or 5-star hotels (preferred)
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with flexibility
· Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
· Willingness to reside on Madeira Island, Portugal
· Proven experience in F&B management
· Education in F&B management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
· Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and restaurant management software
· Strong financial acumen in managing F&B operations
· Ability to deliver tailor-made service to guests
· Knowledge of wines and beverages
