Designed as a haven of peace and rejuvenation, the resort combines THE BARAI's iconic architectural grace with personalized sensory experiences that reflect the essence of Thai hospitality.
Description
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Executive Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in overseeing the efficient operation of the restaurant kitchens, ensuring alignment with established concept statements and strict compliance with hotel policies and procedures. This is a hands-on leadership role that goes beyond administrative management, with a strong focus on daily operations. You will be actively involved in working alongside and developing the kitchen team to maintain high standards and foster continuous improvement.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Ideally with a Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
· Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in upscale dining environments
· Background in crafting refined, health-driven cuisine aligned with wellness and sustainability principles
· Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
· Deep understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen compliance standards
· Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize kitchen workflows
· Excellent communication and organizational abilities
· Good command of English and computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office, email and general computer literacy
