We're looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead Pool Club, our vibrant day-to-night destination where relaxed poolside moments meet thoughtful service, great food and effortless hospitality.

You'll be a visible leader on the floor, creating an atmosphere that feels energetic, welcoming and distinctly Gold Coast. With a sharp eye for detail and a natural ability to connect with guests and colleagues, you'll help every service run smoothly from the first coffee to the final cocktail.

What you'll do

· Support the Pool Club Manager with the daily operation of the venue
· Lead service across poolside, dining and bar areas with confidence and warmth
· Coach, guide and inspire colleagues to deliver engaging, personalised service
· Set the pace during busy periods while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable
· Build genuine guest connections and anticipate needs throughout the experience
· Assist with rosters, briefings, training, performance feedback and colleague development
· Maintain high standards across service, presentation, cleanliness and poolside safety
· Support stock control, cash handling, ordering and cost management
· Respond to guest feedback and service challenges with calm, considered solutions
· Help bring seasonal activations, events and creative Pool Club moments to life
· Work closely with culinary, beverage and hotel teams to create a seamless guest journey

Desired profile

Qualifications :

What you'll bring

·  Previous experience in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or senior hospitality role
·  Experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, beach club, pool club or lifestyle venue
·  A strong understanding of food, beverage and guest experience
·  Confident leadership skills and a genuine interest in developing colleagues
·  Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities
·  A hands-on approach and the flexibility to be present where the team needs you
·  A calm, positive attitude during busy services
·  Availability to work a flexible roster, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
·  Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, or the ability to obtain it
·  Must already have current and ongoing working rights for Australia
