Position Overview:
As a key member of the resort’s management team, the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and operational excellence of beverage experiences at Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong business acumen, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences that reflect Hyatt’s brand promise.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Leadership:
· Develop and execute the F&B strategy in alignment with the resort’s overall vision and business goals.
· Contribute to Department Heads & leadership Committee discussions and decisions, offering insights on guest experience, revenue generation, and brand positioning.
· Operational Excellence:
· Oversee the performance of all F&B outlets, including signature restaurants, lounges, in-room dining, banqueting, and special events.
· Ensure operational efficiency, service consistency, and adherence to Hyatt’s quality and safety standards.
· Financial Stewardship:
· Lead the F&B budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
· Drive profitability through cost control, revenue optimization, and innovative programming.
· Team Development & Culture:
· Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing F&B leadership team.
· Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Guest Experience & Brand Alignment:
· Champion guest-centric service and culinary excellence across all touchpoints.
· Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to position the resort’s F&B offerings as market-leading experiences.
· Sustainability & Innovation:
· Integrate sustainable practices into F&B operations.
· Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce forward-thinking concepts that enhance the resort’s competitive edge.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2–1 3years of experience as F&B Manager of equivalent in luxury hotels with resort experience preferred but not mandatory.
· Proven success in managing complex, multi-outlet F&B operations in a resort or destination setting.
· Strong financial acumen and experience in strategic planning and P&L management.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Fluent in English; Arabic is essential.
· Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
