Assistant Director of Finance

Job description
This position is responsible for the oversight of the hotel's general ledger operations and supports the hotel Director of Finance. Additionally, this person will be responsible for efficiently running the Finance department in line with Hyatt Corporate standards while meeting guest and owner expectations.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· University degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
· Over 2 years of progressive experience in Accounting & Finance, including roles as an Assistant Director of Finance or Finance Manager, ideally within a large-scale hotel or the hospitality industry.
· Proven experience in supervising, coaching, and leading teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
· Expertise in POS systems, Evention, EAS, Birchstreet, Hyperion, Opera, and Oracle.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
· Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
· Key strengths: High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, motivational leadership, clear and effective communication, financial report preparation and analysis, and delivering exceptional customer service.
· Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Outstanding organizational, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
