We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Trade & Transaction Reporting- Business Analysis.
Principal responsibilities
· Analysing and documenting current state business processes, operating model, governance processes and management information reporting.
· Running workshops to identify pain points, gaps and plus points relating to governance and MI reporting; Challenging as-is state, whilst designing target state and running workshops to define target-state.
· Documenting and proposing target state options with pros and cons; Design management information packs and governance material to support target-state; Partnering with operations run-the-bank team to implement business process, operating model, governance, and MI target-state.
· Analysis of current state controls and remediation business processes, and use of time-in-motion studies to identify opportunities to optimise; Reviewing regulatory reporting business requirements and regulatory documentation to define requirements for controls.
· Analysis of current controls to identify root cause issues and propose solutions; Testing of new controls / control changes; Follow the BTF (Business Transformation Framework).
· Develop and manage strong relationships with operations run-the-bank team leads and teams in UK, US, APAC and Bangalore;Interact with internal clients to facilitate effective process change and ensure expectations are effectively managed.
· Work with transformation lead, virtual teams (based in UK and non-UK locations) and wider project team to ensure the change initiatives, linked to the Transformation programme, are pushed through to completion; creating a strong culture of transparency and collaboration; Support the project manager with project reporting, risk management and governance.
· Ensure all due diligence is performed to prevent adverse impact to processes, infrastructure and SLAs.
· This change-the-bank (CTB) role requires a strong self-starter with good time-management skills who enjoys the challenge of delivering process change within tight deadlines; Structured and organized individual with strong business analysis skills and ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities.
· Global remit, working on the Business Analysis/ Business Readiness stream and this role will directly contribute to transform the business and deliver the committed benefits within Market Operations and GBM. Footprint of delivery is across relevant hub and satellite sites.
Requirements
· Background in Investment Banking and Markets, with prior Middle Office experience from a change capacity.
· Working cross asset class, with a good understanding of financial products, front to back trade lifecycle.
· Strong understanding of various Middle Office functions, and business control processes.
· Experience of designing/building controls and operational processes for Operations teams would be an added advantage.
· Experience of dealing with trade and transaction regulatory reporting requirements will be an added advantage.
· Ability to define, document and analyse business process flows and impact on technology flows, and perform E2E business process reviews.
· Excellent project documentation skills and good experience with project delivery and test governance process.
· Data Analysis using excel/other desktop tools beneficial.
