We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering
Markets & Securities Services (MSS) Technology, a global function of 6500+ Tech professionals work in partnership with the business who rely on us for delivering innovative, robust, stable platforms to enable their investment and financial solutions for clients. These include both vendor-based products and a number of award winning in-house primary trading systems. We have a long-term vision for MSS Tech – a future state of architecture that is strategic and disciplined, that enables future updates and costs less. We also have objectives to constantly improve the way we deliver, with our main focus on further integrating DevOps into our business model.
This role will sit within Equities and Securities Financing (ESF) Technology, which is a global department within MSS Technology and has teams in London, Paris, Poland, New York, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Pune – supporting businesses covering Cash Equities, Electronic Trading, Delta One and Flow Trading, Equity Derivatives, Prime Finance, and Futures. The organization is rapidly transforming both its people structure and ways of working to better align with our business and increase the speed and quality of delivery. We are adopting a Value Stream model of working, driving agile delivery through a strong product ownership group.
The role will have multiple, related, dimensions which contribute to strengthening the ESF Technology change delivery.
In this role, you will:

· Working within the ESF Portfolio Team to support the oversight and support of a ~900 FTE technology organization
· Managing multiple facets of the change lifecycle for one of more critical change initiatives including, but not limited to, the mandatory technology book of work covering evergreening and service sustainability (SSP) and the centralization of Germany IT onto group technology platforms (Ellipse).
· Support the implementation of a value stream product centric delivery model; oversee risks, issues and dependencies; assess their impact and take action to minimize that impact.
· Support the Group Reporting standards and Change Framework and provide support to the department to ensure adherence across the portfolio.
Requirements
