We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Strategy & Operations team within Markets (Investment Bank) Technology in the role of Senior Lead Consultant specialist, whose primary responsibility is to solve complex organisational problems and develop strategies across a broad range of subjects to better the organisation.
The ideal candidate does not necessarily require Technology or Investment Banking experience, but a proven track record of solving complex, unstructured problems and articulating outcomes shaped towards the target audience is essential. The preferred candidate will have experience akin to roles in Consulting at Senior Consultant level, including roles directly supporting and advising a head of function / department / programme.

Strategy & Operations also ensures ESF Leadership Team governance and accountability are in place, and tackles operational matters that arise from running a business. Therefore, familiarity with operations, financials and resource management (COO-type skills) are desirable to support the ESF lead an ~300 person Technology organisation
Equities & Securities Financing (ESF) Technology is a global department within Markets & Securities Services (MSS) Technology and has teams in London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Pune – supporting businesses covering Cash Equities, Electronic Trading, Delta One and Flow Trading, Equity Derivatives, Prime Finance, SBL, Repo and Futures. The organization is rapidly transforming both its people structure and ways of working to better align with our business and increase the speed and quality of delivery. We are adopting a DevOps model driving agile delivery and building a strong product ownership group. The 2021 change portfolio is approximately $150m (including FRTB, Service Sustainability investment, Risk remediation, Regulatory change, and other discretionary change).
In this role, you will:
· Identifying data sources, performing data analysis and applying data visualisation techniques to create compelling stakeholder presentations that provide transparency and support decision making processes
· Performing data gathering across multiple teams, including definition of approach and creation of templates in Excel, capturing data required for analysis that does not exist
· Enabling the ESF Leadership Team to operate effectively, uphold governance and support the decision making process
· Designing and improving processes relating to Strategy and Operations in Equities Technology
· Driving strategy projects, for example, developing a location strategy
· Seeking ways to improve and automate our processes
· Supporting processes that may support the ESF Portfolio, including ad-hoc analysis on new demand, annual planning and data analysis of project spend
· Generating ideas and implementing them to progress our strategy e.g. cost saving opportunities

Senior Lead Consultant Specialist who would be a team member responsible to deliver multiple services for the projects with quality and efficiency coordinating with global stakeholders.

Core Skills / Characteristics
· Ability to create effective presentations suitable for target audience
· Data analysis and visualisation skills using Excel. Dashboarding skills desirable knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle toolsets including Clarity and Jira
· Awareness of agile working practices
· Change agent with resiliency and an ability to influence
· Ability to drive team engagement through events, communication etc.
· Ability to adapt to changing requirements which include occasional short notice requests
· Prior experience of a similar role in an organisation which may have been obtained from Management Consulting, Strategy, Change, Chief Operating Officer at a Consultant / Senior Analyst level
· Commercial minded
