We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Strategy Associate, WPB.
Principal Responsibilities
· Participate in strategic WPB projects and Group-wide initiatives assessing structural long term opportunities for HSBC leveraging WPB capabilities
· Provide support and build relationships with Senior Stakeholders
· Undertake analysis to support the development and track execution of WPB strategy
· Identify key issues / opportunities and using HSBC and external sources to provide actionable recommendations for the WPB
· Effectively communicate (both written and oral) analyses across internal stakeholders – within WPB strategy, across strategy colleagues in the bank and across other functions within WPB
Requirements
· Structured analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw insights from complex data sources
· Self-sufficient and results driven
· Ability to demonstrate resilience
· Strong technical skills in particular Excel and PowerPoint
· Quantitative background
· Strong interpersonal and written communications skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Confidence in liaising across the organisation with an ability to deliver clear, insightful and succinct analyses
· Ability to prioritise effectively against multiple deadlines
