We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Apply SRE best practices to keep production stable, improve performance and availability of infrastructure and applications.
• Drive major incident recovery calls with Business and IT stakeholders.
• Develop automation solutions to improve application resiliency, support functions and reduce toil.
• Enhance monitoring, alerting and observability solutions to track performance of the application and prevent or proactively identify issue at an early stage.
• Working with business and other stakeholders to deliver optimal and timely resolutions.
• Participate and provide useful inputs in architectural and technical design decisions for the Collateral applications.
• You build it, you own it mentality.
• Providing shift coverage (General and UK).
Requirements
Requirements/Key Skills
• Experience on Production Application Support functions preferable with bank domain and ITIL concepts like Incident, Change and Problem management etc.
• Experience in Devops & SRE culture.
• Experience with DevOps Tooling like Jira, confluence, Ansible etc. and working on CI/CD tools like GIT, Jenkins, Ansible or similar tools. Experience in setting up and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Monitoring and alerting solution based on Telegraf, Influx, Grafana and Kapacitor stack or similar.
• APM Tool experience (Datadog, Splunk, Appdynamics)
• Hands on with Problem solving & Incident management processes.
• Exposure to log aggregation tools like Grafana Loki, Splunk.
• Familiar with Infrastructure management on Unix, Windows, and Databases. Troubleshooting and fixing application issues.
• Experience performing of DR exercise related tasks for the application.
• Experience with Cloud and support in migration of existing / new load to IKP (Internal Kubernetes Platform& Dockers) / GCP (Google Cloud Platform). Awareness of technologies such as Cognos, MQ, etc.
• Experience with Micro-service-based architecture and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience of Unix, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, core Java, Python or similar.
• Analyze and fix code causing performance issues / affecting resiliency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to translate technical details into easily understood and consumable data/reports.
