We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
· Providing HR system functional support at a global level for a variety of task; including but not limited to:
· Assist payroll users in processing production Payrolls and resolve payroll queries raised by business/operations with-in agreed timelines.
· Prepare detailed analysis report and share with technical/Functional teams (Tier-3) to facilitate defect fixing.
· Ensuring the payroll manuals/SOPs/KBA is relevant, up-to-date and is always used.
· Prioritization of workload of assigned tasks on a day-to-day basis and share knowledge with the team members.
· Assisting other team members to further troubleshoot and analyse technical issues.
· Should focus on process/service improvement opportunities with an aim to make the process more efficient and error free.
· Promote standardization of processes across regions which falls under the scope of Tier-2 BAU support.
· Should be vigilant on BAU processes, identifying any risks and propose solutions/work around.
· Applicant should be flexible to work in shifts including weekend support based on business requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
· Excellent English spoken and written communication.
· Good Understanding of SAP HCM Personnel Administration, Info types and Payroll configuration.
· Detailed understanding of EC-Payroll calculation process which includes payroll clusters, retro-calculation, taxation, claims processes etc. is required including Payroll process models, payroll schemas and payroll calculation rules (PCRs).
· Provide support to SAP HCM/Payroll Modules in a multi country payroll processing environment, preferably using new technologies like Success factor’s EC Time Management and EC Payroll.
· Knowledge on integration between EC and ECPY and prior experience of resolving Employee master data replication issues using Point-to-Point (P2P) integration and executing payroll using Payroll control center is a plus.
· Knowledge in SF EC Timesheet, Time Off, EC Integration Center/ORD Reports to be able to build, run, schedule and monitor the integrations is desirable
· Strong understanding of any countries SAP payroll localization knowledge of Mexico, USA, UK, MENA, HK and CHINA is desirable and awareness of more than one country payroll is a plus.
· Should be able to build good client relationship and Sharing knowledge with team members.
· Good Understanding of Microsoft Office tools like excel and Power point.
· Basic knowledge using Splunk tool for monitoring integrations, Experience with Control-M scheduler for monitoring integrations & Interfaces in Mainframes environment is a plus.
· Basic knowledge of file transmission/transformation knowledge in integration environments.
· Should be able to Monitor system health checks across HR Applications using monitoring tools and respond to any system alerts.
· Respond to application support escalations by Performing root cause analysis and providing swift resolutions.
