We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities

l Responsible for engineering and creating the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation and load of data functions.
l Solid experience on dimensional data warehouse
l ETL processes engineering for data warehouse from acquisition and staging of data, storing records within the warehouses, historical archive and transforming records for loading into the reporting tables.
l Support the design, build, test and maintain data management systems, making sure they meet business requirements and user needs.
l Deliver services that are automated, reliable and secure.
l Prepare key documentation to support the technical design in technical specifications.
l Work closely with engineering leader, data architects, and SCRUM master.
l Recommend ways to improve data efficiency, reliability and quality
l Industrializes the delivery of data products and services into systems and business processes.
Requirements
Requirements
l A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
l Understanding of tools and components of Data Architecture.
l Good understanding of the concepts and best practices of data warehouse ETL design
l Knowledge and experience with Data Warehousing and ETL Tools
l Engineering experience on database such as Oracle, MySQL, SQLServer etc.
l Engineering experience on AliCloud big data component, e.g. DataWorks, MaxCompute, OSS
l Knowledge of life insurance and regulatory reporting domain will be an advantage.
l Passive for elegance and efficiency in software engineering and strive for continuous improvements.
l Good command of written and spoken communication skills and fluent in English.
