We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer.

Business:  Wholesale Technology

Principal responsibilities

·  Designing and implementing Java-based solutions for our EDI platform.
·  Working with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
·  Collaborating with team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
·  Providing technical support and troubleshooting for our EDI platform.
·  Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Java development and EDI

Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or a related field.
·  Extensive knowledge of EDI concepts and protocols, including SAP IDOC, XML, and EDIFACT.
·  Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
·  Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, SQL, and database design.
·  Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
·  Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
·  Proficient in Java programming and developing Java web applications.
·  Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
