We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Third Party Risk Officer - GTPM HUB-HK-GZC.
Principal responsibilities
· Supports the Global TPRO by acting as the local point of contact / interface/ champion for TPRM related matters on behalf of Operations.
· Provides risk management support, subject matter expertise and direction for Third Party Risk related activities and issues in conjunction with the Global TPRO.
· Coordinates the implementation and embedding of the Group Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Policy and Framework.
· Executes and maintains the Operations Third Party Risk Governance strategy to ensure coordinated, consistent, effective, and complete adoption of the Operations execution plan for Group TPRM Policy and Framework in their remit.
· Advises and guides Third Party Engagement Managers (TPEMs) & Risk Owners by establishing thresholds to identify materiality of Risk or Regulatory importance.
· Reviews and monitors Third Party Risk related issues across all entities within Operations locally. Understands and can advise on regulatory requirements and how they apply to TPRM.
· Provides advice and guidance to Third Party Engagement Managers and Risk Owners and Accountable Executives. Ensures skills / knowledge gaps and opportunities to upskill and improve performance are identified and that training is completed.
· Measures TPRM against set risk objectives and controls.
· Provides escalation through reporting line where decision/issue is of significant materiality or regulatory importance.
· Reviews analysis, MI and reporting to inform local strategy and execution plans.
· Manages and oversees Third Party Engagements to ensure TPM activities are undertaken accurately and on time, records are complete and accurate and are compliant with TPM policy.
Requirements
· Relevant experience of successfully managing third party risk management activities or supplier / contract management or procurement.
· Experience of managing and delivering change projects.
· Relevant experience in operations or in a directly related business/function in addition to successful experience in leading a team.
· Experience of working for a large, complex global organisation and of supporting multiple countries.
· A solid understanding of Risk Management best practices.
· A good understanding of the business services provided within Operations, the goods / services, third parties and contracts used, how they support the business operation and their level of criticality.
