We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of SENIOR THIRD PARTY RISK OFFICER.

Principal responsibilities

The Sr TPRO to: 

·  Supports the Global TPRO by acting as the local point of contact / interface/ champion for TPRM related matters on behalf of Operations.  Provides risk management support, subject matter expertise and direction for Third Party Risk related activities and issues in conjunction with the Global TPRO  
·  Coordinates the implementation and embedding of the Group Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Policy and Framework   Executes and maintains the Operations Third Party Risk Governance strategy to ensure coordinated, consistent, effective, and complete adoption of the Operations execution plan for Group TPRM Policy and Framework in their remit.  Advises and guides Third Party Engagement Managers (TPEMs) & Risk Owners by establishing thresholds to identify materiality of Risk or Regulatory importance. 
·  Provides advice and guidance to Third Party Engagement Managers and Risk Owners and Accountable Executives. Ensures skills / knowledge gaps and opportunities to upskill and improve performance are identified and that training is completed.  Measures TPRM against set risk objectives and controls . Provides escalation through reporting line where decision/issue is of significant materiality or regulatory importance.   Reviews analysis, MI and reporting to inform local strategy and execution plans. 
·  Manages and oversees Third Party Engagements to ensure TPM activities are undertaken accurately and on time, records are complete and accurate and are compliant with TPM policy.Governance forum (Monthly).  Local drumbeats (Periodic). 
·  Act as the management interface between Third Party Engagement Managers and the Global Third Party Risk Utility. Influence stakeholders with the Risk Owners, Accountable Executives and Engagement Managers within the business to create an environment of robust, pro-active and risk aware business operation . Building strong working relationships across Operations  
·  Work closely with Group TPRM model to align the practices and governance structures to share / absorb best practices . Work with Risk Stewards as a channel to feedback improvements on policy requirements and to help understand and manage the risks of the aggregate Engagements in relation to the relevant risk domain 
·  Maintain transparent communication channels with all relevant stakeholders  . ideas together to create new and innovative solutions.  Proven track record in role modeling the Group values and behaviors, authentically engaging with your team, colleagues, and customers to deliver superior Customer Service through them. 

Requirements

·  Extensive management background within a third-party risk role preferably within financial services, operating at a senior level within an operational role. 
·  Extensive change management experience throughout the full change lifecycle.  Prior project management experience 
·  Experience within a third party management role preferably within financial services 
·  Prior Third Party Risk Management related operational risk experience with a financial institution or at a regulatory agency or major consulting firm is desirable.  A good understanding and experience of the Global Businesses and Global Functions within a Bank . Prior experience of working across 1 or more Risk Domains (providing support and guidance to business functions); 
·  Resilience Risk,   People Risk,   Legal Risk,   Financial Crime and Fraud Risk,   Financial Reporting and Tax Risk,   Regulatory Compliance Risk,   Strategic Risk,  Model Risk
·  Academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree or demonstration of relevant industry experience  
·  Supply management / Procurement Qualification   
·  Experience of Centre’s of Excellence or Global Service Centers in the context of large global organizations. The role will support global businesses and functions, the ability to have strong written and verbal skills and converse fluently in English is Essential.
