We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Business: IWPB Technology

Principal responsibilities

·  Work as part of Global Digital Engineering team with responsibility for API delivery for various Digital projects, Open Banking area that aligns with best practices & standards from Global Architecture group.
·  Collaborate with Enterprise/Solution Architects, Business Analyst to deliver high quality APIs to enable reusability in the Group.
·  Provide professional consultancy/support timely for application teams’ queries/requests.
·  Ensure the technical design/code structure is technical coherent, future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations.
·  Work with Java/COBOL experienced developers and Global Architects to conduct PoC for emerging technologies.

Requirements

·  University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
·  Solid and proficient skills in Java, Spring Framework, Web Service, RAML.
·  Strong foundation in Restful design practices.
·  Experience in working with API management platform.
·  Experience in modelling data in JSON. Mongo DB is a plus.
·  Knowledge or experience of any ESB tools (e.g. IIB, Mule, MQ, SpringBoot).
·  Knowledge of DevOps, Microservice, Restful API, Agile concepts.
·  Knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git, Splunk, Jira/Confluence, AppD, Docker, Kubernetes.
·  Track record in working on the delivery of complex deployment projects and under diversified/ matrix structure.
·  Strong communication, presentation & influencing skills, able to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural, diverse work environments.
·  Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills.
·  Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision.
·  Good command of written and spoken English. Mandarin is also preferred.
·  Able to work at flexible hour for late evening meeting with colleagues in various regions, API deployment & production support.
·  Willing to learn/explore various technologies especially in Integration domain.
