We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer
Business: Wealth & Personal Banking IT
Principal responsibilities
The role is in First Line of Defence (1LOD) in Global Private Banking & Wealth Technology - Information Security, Risks and Controls Teams, responsible for supporting automation build and work related to various Cybersecurity, risks and controls improvement, Technology Services Sustainabiliity Programme (SSP), that is evergreening our technology estate.
The role will work in partnership with technology teams and central functions in
•driving and tracking SSP programme deliveries and related work across different teams in different geography.
•streamlining and building automation solution, to bring efficiencies across different Technology and Cybersecurity controls improvement (the controls include Cybersecurity controls, Infrastructure controls, Data Controls, etc. and SSP
•supporting complex analysis using large volumes of data, propose changes based on findings, build solutions
•support management reporting of SSP, Technology controls initiatives
Requirements
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
•With Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber-security or relevant qualifications and work experienceDevelopment experience/skill with the relevant toolsets (Python/Java, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins Pipeline, APIs integration, etc.)
•With good knowledge on Agile, DevOps methodologies
•Effective Time management and prioritization of work demands, able to deliver good quality of work
•Prepare to work and meet tight timelines when needed
•Strong in issue analysis and problem solving
•Positive and professional attitude, a good team player, flexible and adaptable, open to change(s)
•Confident and takes responsibility and ownership of work and personal development
•Good spoken and written communication, ability to adapt style based on audience (Fluent in spoken/ written English)
•Ability to communicate technical subject matter to non-technical stakeholders
•Ability to quickly develop good working relationships with stakeholders
•Experience in one or more of areas : SSP, Cybersecurity, Technology controls and KCI, etc. is preferred.
