In this role, you will lead and take responsibility of the overall Collections activities performed by frontline staff in line with HSBC Policy and Procedural requirements as well as all regulatory obligations related to the Collections Department. You will report to Senior Manager Quality Assurance and Back Office directly.

Your main responsibilities will include:

·  Drive the performance of collections team with the focus on customer and operational integrity.
·  Conduct independent reviews of the quality assurance activities to ensure inherent risk associated with products and service offerings.
·  Provide trend analysis and insight to the business on opportunities to improve their quality outputs and staff development.
·  Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and rapport with an offshore team and key stakeholders
·  Monitoring of required remediation has been completed to protect the bank and or our customers.
·  Strong written and presentation skills
·  Ensure Collections Policies are documented, up to date, and reflects necessary Regulatory Compliance requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

·  Relevant experience in Collections, Compliance and Banking Services.
·  Deep knowledge and understanding of secured and unsecured products
·  High level of drive, motivation and attention to detail
·  Ability to communicate at various levels of the organisation including leadership team
·  Problem solving mindset and effective at leading and working with cross functional teams

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
