We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Management Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
· Be responsible for adhering the regulatory and internal requirement in the context of product governance and sales suitability framework. Launch and administer products in local jurisdiction as well as develop and maintain policy and procedures with proper audit trail
· Engage with product suppliers to ensure a stable and quality supply to our product shelf. Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless implementation of new or changed product features
· Responsible for managing and mitigating operational risks associated with product and sales suitability process in the day to day operations by working with risk stewards and various stakeholders
· Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure the team and own conduct maintain the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
· Be accountable for delivering reporting and presentations for regular management updates and approvals
· Gap Analysis and implementation of plan to address various new regulatory updates
· Handle ad-hoc projects as required by business or management and coordinate for implementation and communication
· Support, re-engineer and streamline the sales process and systems from product and sales suitability perspective
· Develop and execute digital transformation projects across mobile, browser and public website platforms to enhance customer engagement, revenue, sales and service efficiency and satisfaction
· Closely monitor the market conditions and the competitors’ strategies, benchmark digital performance and processes against industry best practice, recommend and drive strategies and changes to grow the business and address major gaps or issues as appropriate
· Ensure HCBS digital platforms and services are fully compliance with the regulatory and internal requirements, manage and mitigate risks associated with digital platforms by working closely with relevant risk stewards and various stakeholders
· Oversee, evaluate and provide insights regarding the performance of digital channels and wholesales business
Requirements
· University degree in business, finance or related discipline
· Good knowledge in securities and investment products. Experience related to investment, brokerage and/or private banking business would be a bonus
· Experience in driving wealth and/or digital projects including identification of opportunities and developing business cases, defining product or service requirements, engaging a wide range of functional experts for development and deployment, project execution, launch, and post launch performance measurement and management
· Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills, being able to translate business problems into a set of digital requirements and ability to consider alternative solutions
· Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, and ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders to agree on scope and requirements
· Able to work independently, handle and manage challenging tasks and deadlines
· Strong people manager, able to lead teams and develop others
· Proficiency in both English and Chinese
· Currently registered under SFC Type 1 Regulated Activity. Candidate does not have SFC Type 1 license, he or she will be required to pass HKSI Licensing Exam Papers 1,7 and 8
· Understanding or experience of the HSBC Group, its culture, policies and procedures, or similar global organisations would be a bonus
