We are currently seeking an ambitious person to join our team as an Open Finance Senior Manager who will be responsible for spearheading the development, execution, and commercialization of Open Finance initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, enabling new revenue streams through open finance, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of the Open Finance ecosystem.
In this role, you will:
•Develop and implement the organization’s Open Finance strategy, defining clear objectives and KPIs that align with the broader digital transformation roadmap.
• Identify emerging trends in Open Finance, BaaS, and the fintech landscape to position the organization as a market leader.
• Ensure strategic alignment with regulatory, market, and customer expectations while driving innovation and growth.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Open Finance regulatory requirements ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with all related stakeholders including but not limited to legal, risk, and compliance teams to interpret regulations and turn them into actionable, compliant business models.
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with fintech technology providers, and other ecosystem players to enhance product offerings and market reach.
• Define and execute monetization strategies for Open Finance initiatives, including API productization, BaaS platforms, and data services.
• Develop business cases, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies for Open Finance products and services.
• Oversees the development of a well-defined project plans related to all Open Finance deliveries and coordinates planning across multiple delivery partners.
• Plans effectively around delivery constraints and optimizes the plan to maximize benefits and minimize risk.
• Working with Delivery Directors / Programme Directors / Project managers obtains buy-in, collaborates, and influences senior management stakeholders for all key project plans, commitments, and changes.
• Proactively determine, analyze, and identify performance metrics and measurements and dictates improvement plans to track and drive on time delivery and adherence to budget.
• Actively manages and co-ordinates the project plan/roadmap, handling changes as they arise and keeping stakeholders focused on the agreed change outcomes and benefits.
• Baseline the plan requirements, designs, budget, and scope. Manages changes through the change control process.
• Anticipate and identify existing or emerging risks/issues.
• Works closely with delivery partners on planning, design and estimating, bringing together delivery partner teams; actively managing dependencies between these teams and other projects.
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Extensive experience with Open Banking / Open Finance, or API Banking solutions.
• Experience in building and managing Open Finance frameworks to unlock new revenue streams.
• Strong knowledge of Open Finance and Open Banking regulations (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, and local regulatory requirements).
• Hands-on experience in implementing compliance frameworks preferably on Open Finance by working with regulators.
• Capability to define and execute the strategic roadmap for Open Finance initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Proven track record in identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships with fintechs, banks, and ecosystem players.
• Skilled in developing business models, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans for Open Finance solutions.
• Ability to foster mutually beneficial collaborations to drive innovation and market reach.
• Experience with Digital Banking and Digital Product Management to shape the digital journeys related to Open Finance.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and provide thought leadership to influence policy.
• Proven ability to drive product commercialization and establish profitable revenue streams from data and API services.
• Financial services industry experience (ideally with a large corporate, within retail banking products) and strong understanding of digital business
• Strong thought leadership and creativity to proactively propose new business opportunities and resolve issues.
• Ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels within the organisation.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
