Over the years, Hang Seng Investment Management Limited ("HSVM") has executed a number of documents ("Legacy Documents"). Currently, HSVM is expanding and it handling a large volume of documents for new matters ("New Documents"). In order to provide efficiently support HSVM from a legal perspective, We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join us as  Senior Legal Manager.

  Principal responsibilities

·  Work independently and to proactively assist 1st line of defense (1LoD)
·  Assist to standardize the legal documents, i.e. revamping legacy documents while pushing forward with new documents
·  Evaluate and keep up to date with laws and regulations of those jurisdiction which HSVM has presence in or would like to do business in and to ensure relevant HSVM follows group policies and procedures

Requirements

Requirements

·  Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong with 10 years of PQE as minimum
·  Have solid knowledge and experience in advising on the legal aspect of asset management work, for example:
·  Know how the asset management industry works
·  Understand regulatory requirements (e.g. Securities and Futures Ordinance, Personal Data Privacy Ordinance, Company Ordinance and other Hong Kong Laws, Hong Kong Listing Rules (with respect to ETFs), SFC Circulars, Codes, PRC regulations on QFI, MRF etc.)
·  Ability to spot legal risk and resolve issues by taking into account commercial consideration
·  Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
·  Stamina and ability to work under pressure 
·  Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
