We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, ASP.
Principal Responsibilities
Strategic analysis
· Working closely with Head of Strategic Planning and Stress Testing / Asia CFO to provide the HBAP EXCO and HBAP Board with timely and insightful information to support strategic decision making and drive better business performance across the region
· Playing a key role in performing analyses / what-if scenarios in respect of key performance metrics for Asia, both historical and forward-looking. The analyses are required for identifying business risks and opportunities, supporting Board/EXCO meetings and investor presentations
· Challenging the status quo and improving the planning process, e.g. reviewing / challenging the forecast prepared by the Global Businesses, DBS and Global Functions, helping to drive a more insightful forecast for Asia
Digital solutions
· Responsible for end-to-end delivery of digital solutions in relation to Strategic Planning, working with global teams to align to the overall business and finance digital strategy. The roleholder will be required to work with a wide range of stakeholders in delivering the end solution, including gathering business requirements, coordinating tasks amongst different teams, conducting stakeholders’ briefings, etc
· Responsible for data quality assurance, supporting UAT and conducting user training prior to the launch of new MI dashboards
Project management
· Liaising with Global Businesses, DBS, Global Functions, ALCM and other stakeholders to drive business / strategic change projects
· Responsible for project planning, escalation of issues to management on a timely basis and deliver end-solution to agreed outcome, timeline and budget
The roleholder will get exposure to work with a range of senior stakeholders. The role will suit an individual who is looking to raise their profile, take on significant responsibilities and be involved in business / strategic change projects.
Requirements
· Qualified accountant will be an advantage
· Excellent oral and written English. Sound communication skills with the ability to explain complicated financial matters in clear (non-jargon) language
· Experience in financial planning / budgeting / modelling. Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset, and an excellent grasp of business drivers
· Demonstrate strong project discipline, planning and collaboration skills. Able to adapt to change, anticipate issues and resolve problems in a timely manner
· Preferably with prior experience in the implementation of MI dashboards or customer analytics using business intelligence tools
· Good understanding about data infrastructure, data quality, analytics and controls
· Solution oriented mindset and proactive approach in driving change and innovation
· Ambitious, driven and enthusiastic – proactive thinker
