We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

·  Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise in infrastructure automation.
·  Design, implement, and maintain automated systems for monitoring infrastructure performance and health, including proactive alerting and incident response.
·  Develop and automate operational processes, such as operation, configuration management, and patching, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
·  Implement infrastructure automation tools and frameworks to enable self-healing, auto-scaling, and fault tolerance.
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure automation requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
·  Establish and maintain documentation for infrastructure automation systems, including playbooks, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
·  Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in infrastructure automation, evaluating their potential impact and making recommendations for adoption.
·  Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
·  Proven experience as an SRE or similar role, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation.
·  Strong domain knowledge of on-perm infrastructure, e.g.: Linux, Windows, Databases(Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), Middlewares(WAS, IHS, MQ, apache, nodejs).
·  Rich experience on developing/supporting IBM platform (includes iSeries, mainframe).
·  Strong cloud knowledge of AWS, GCP, ALI, Azure, IKP.
·  In-depth knowledge of infrastructure automation tools and frameworks, such as Ansible, Jenkins, github, Terraform.
·  Experience leading and managing a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
·  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure automation issues.
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
·  Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
·  Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
