We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Manager - Planning

Principal responsibilities
· Collaborate with teams throughout the company to develop, submit, and monitor cost plans as part of the Financial Resourcing Plan (FRP) process. Maintain accurate forecasts throughout the financial year.
· Complete the Annual FRP process for costs with thoroughness and appropriate scrutiny. Document all assumptions and obtain signoffs from key stakeholders to ensure the process runs smoothly and reflects business changes.
· Conduct detailed analysis on cost areas to find potential savings or enhance understanding of the GPB&W cost base for both direct and indirect costs.
· Take responsibility for managing GPB&W UK headcount within the Full Time Employee/Equivalent plan and help keep related costs in check.
· Assist leadership with cost efficiency projects, including headcount and finance issues in collaboration with the GPB&W Finance team, as well as Organisational Design reviews.
· Lead and manage Senior Cost Governance forums in GPB&W UK and attend as delegate to Global Senior Cost forums in GPB&W as required.
· Maintain, implement and/or improve cost control processes.
Requirements
· Experience in cost management, financial analysis, trend analysis, and quantitative analysis is required. Managing complex financial processes, like the annual budget cycle, is essential.
· Strong commercial acumen coupled with the ability to manage finances are important. It is important that the role holder can make and influence strategic decisions.
· Experience with Organisational Design principles such as Span of Control, Layers, Matrix Reporting, etc.
· Strong understanding of Direct and Indirect Costs.
· Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Python is a plus, but not mandatory.
· Proficiency in Anaplan and Fusion is desirable but not mandatory. The ability to create automated dashboards and reports for cost and FTE analysis is crucial. Must be comfortable in presenting high-quality financial information to senior stakeholders.
· A positive attitude along with strong organizational and planning skills is essential.
