As part of Corporate and Institutional Banking, Markets & Securities Services serve clients across the Group and have a presence in more than 50 countries and territories. We help clients across our global businesses unlock investment and financing opportunities, access financial markets and liquidity, manage risk and transact across borders. We do this through our expertise in Markets, Financing and Securities Services.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of  Supervisor/Officer Equity Settlement – Direct Custody and Clearing .

Principal Responsibilities:

·  Input, pre-match and settle all receipt and delivery instructions with counterparty including brokers, custodian banks and internal transfer within HSBC clients.
·  Transaction monitoring, FX processing and trade reporting to client
·  Liaise operationally on day to day basis with the various DCC operations team
·  Delivery of the highest possible level of service in line with the service level agreement and other value added service to maintain HSBC's top DCC service.
·  Assist clients on services issues related to our operation.
·  Working together with various business line within the bank, both locally and regionally.
·  Reflecting strict adherence to our Global Standard / Compliance policy in managing daily business activity.

Information

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

·  Hold a minimum bachelor degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, IT or related discipline.
·  Good communication skills need to be in constant communication with other HSBC units and external clients.
·  A delivery-focused person.
·  A proven ability to create and maintain good relationships is essential.
·  Has knowledge on Capital Market Industry.
·  Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
