We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Medical Services (Data Analytics & Reporting)

Principal Responsibilities

·  MIS Reporting: Develop and maintain regular MIS reports for management, providing actionable insights and recommendations in a timely & accurate manner
·  Trend Analysis: Collect, Analyze, interpret large sets of Employee Benefits (EB) & VHIS Claims data and identify trends, patters & insights for cost savings & FWA (Fraud, waste and Abuse) detection/prevention on regular intervals
·  Automation & efficiency: Review reporting and data preparation accuracy and develop automation to improve the turn around time of report generation
·  Dashboards & Visualization: Create & maintain business scorecards through visualization tools such as QlikView & Power BI to support decision making process
·  Support cross functions: Handle data queries from internal teams by providing additional analysis & insights
·  Compliance & Standards: Ensure all data analytics and reporting activities adhere to relevant regulations & standards
·  Collaborate with business stakeholders, internal & external technology teams, data teams to build Machine learning & AI capabilities which will aid business in cost savings & FWA detection
·  Annual Papers: Ability to write, collaborate and publish internal & external papers on Claims deep dives, trend analysis, medical inflation and other relevant topics on Medical claims
·  Collaborate with medical community and the insurance industry in order to generate meaningful insights from industry
·  Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by line manager to drive business requirements

Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business analytics or related field. A master’s degree is a plus
·  At least 2-3 years of experience in data analysis & reporting in insurance industry preferably in medical claims
·  Proficiency in Python, Excel (including Pivot tables, macros, complex formulas), Power Point  is required
·  Experience in visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView. Knowledge in QlikView is preferable
·  Strong analytics skills with ability to extract, collect, analyse data with speed and accuracy
·  Excellent skills in data story telling & articulate insights to management
·  Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
·  Good command of written and spoken English. Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred
·  Ability to effectively prioritise & execute tasks while under pressure
·  Results orientated, self-directed and motivated change leader. Ability to work effectively in a multinational, highly matrixed environment
