We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Assistant Vice President - Decision Science

Principal responsibilities

·  An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role where you will be responsible for:
·  Supporting the VP in the implementation the designed operating procedures which underpin the execution of the RMF Responsibilities, primarily in relation to 1. Advice and Challenge 2. Monitoring of Risk Appetite 3. RCA Review and Challenge 4. Controls, Issues, Actions and Events 5. Oversight of key Regulatory Reporting change initiatives and 6. Reporting and Governance.
·  Supporting the embedding of solutions which uplift areas identified for improvement.
·  Assisting the VP in critically reviewing and challenging 1LOD deliverables and solutions (e.g. process maps, RCA’s, remediation plans and MSII management actions plans). The Role Holder will be responsible for having a detailed knowledge of the risks and issues applicable to the return.
·  Understanding the Regulatory Reporting rules currently in effect and maintaining an awareness of Regulatory Reporting Developments (e.g. Basel 3). Role holder will assist in the oversight of the 1LOD plan to embed new reporting requirements into BAU.
·  Compile, review and challenge the MI used in assessing Regulatory Reporting Risk.  Identify areas where further MI is required to accurately assess the risk within Regulatory Reporting.
·  In conjunction with other team members, work with the IRR Program to resolve any existing blockers to fully executing the Risk Stewardship RMF responsibilities.

Requirements

·  Practical experience in 1LOD preparation of regulatory reporting which is submitted to a Regulator.
·  Experience and knowledge of regulatory rules and reporting and practical experience of regulatory reporting change programs.
·  Strong understanding of key regulatory reporting controls, including experience of operating these controls.
·  Demonstrate initiative - a self-starter who accepts challenges with strong sense of ownership and accountability requiring minimal direction.
·  Experience of working with onshore/offshore model.
·  Analytical person with a positive personality, outstanding communication and problem solving skills to coordinate with business partners of different backgrounds
·  Outstanding attention to detail and dedication to maintain a strong control environment and ability to seek for potential improvements
·  Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
