In this role you will:

·  Grow sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio and through targeted acquisition of new quality customers
·  Ensure proactive relationship building/customer contact plans and pipeline management for both existing and new customers
·  Monitor an own client portfolio and generate quality assets through the use of appropriate risk management tools, priced appropriately for risk and within customers ' and HSBC's risk appetite
·  Structure credit facilities to ensure optimum balance between customer and HSBC interests while remaining within the bounds of prudent banking
·  Proactively grow international/cross border revenue
·  Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of customer information and deal pipeline on relevant systems as required
·  Work collaboratively with other Global Businesses, Product and Service Partners to identify opportunities to connect customers to opportunities and strengthen the relationship
·  Develop effective strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipate customer needs and provide a superior quality service to position HSBC as the market leader in this segment
·  Support senior managers by cross-pollinating sales best practices across and between regions, along with leading/participating in local/regional/global initiatives that result in higher returns
·  Deepen understanding of the client through pro-active credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews
·  Confidently manage financial crime risk throughout the client lifecycle by identifying, assessing, accepting, monitoring, escalating and mitigating risk
·  Ensure adherence to all applicable operational risk HSBC Standards and policies, reporting any breaches in accordance with local procedures
·  Ensure prompt escalation or sharing of relevant information relating to the client, so that members of the client coverage team can form and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the risks to HSBC by the client.

You should apply if you have:

·  Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position with international exposure.
·  Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues
·  Ability to interact with business customers at all levels
·  Strong team player, open communication/ knowledge sharing
·  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
·  Strong ability for multitasking and result driven mind-set
·  Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions
·  Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services
·  Strong analytical skills
·  Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension
·  Risk knowledge, internal control, corporate governance
·  Working knowledge of applicable security / risk concepts and methodologies
·  Strong language skills: English fluency (required)
·  Time management skills, effective, determined, resilient, well-organized, autonomous and flexible.
