We are currently seeking a qualified and self
- motivated individual to join this team as Head of Unsecured Consumer Loans.  Reporting into the Head of Customer Value Management (CVM) you will act as a Product Manager for Personal Loans with aim to maximize the profitability and business growth of the Australia portfolio. You will drive development of integrated strategies by customer segment, product and/ or portfolio and support the implementation of personal loans business projects.
 
Your main responsibilities will include:
Responsible for P & L of Australia unsecured consumer loans business
Grow the Australia consumer loans portfolio to a profitable scale and achieve AOP targets on new drawdowns
Improve the profitability of the business through analytically grounded strategies. Drive segmented strategies and leverage the risk reward trade
- offs to drive the learning across segments
Liaise closely with credit risk team to ensure appropriate credit policies around approval/ decline and ticket sizes
Leverage existing and build new channels to drive the loan portfolio growth
Initiate and implement product enhancements and acquisition/ portfolio growth actions. Leverage channels, credit risk and regional product teams to drive effective product strategies
Oversee and improve the end to end process on personal loans from lead selections, targeting, sales, acceptance, approval and fulfillment
Review and ensure the effectiveness of business investment to maximize returns and learning; develop product plans and business case for strategy implementation

Desired profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:
A tertiary qualification in  a relevant discipline;
At least 10 years experience in Cards and Unsecured  product management, with a demonstrated understanding of Loans capability, especially card or loan acquisition through multiple channels particularly non
- branch channels;
Previous experience managing the P & L for a large card or loan portfolio;
Knowledge or background in Marketing and customer segmentation;
Strong strategy, analytical and problem solving skills;
Previous leadership and people management experience;
Excellent communication, customer and partner relationship skills
